Department Summary
The Delivery Management chapter is part of Roche Global Informatics and is responsible for driving strategic projects, outcomes, products, and services in a complex IT environment. Our Chapter is grounded on growth mindset, practices, and behaviors that align with Roche's Principles and 10-year ambition along with Agile SAFe ways of working. Our team of Agile specialists, Program, Project and delivery managers currently lead initiatives and projects to support our business stakeholders within Commercial, Supply Chain, Manufacturing operations, Finance and Procurement.
This internship position is located in South San Francisco, CA, on-site (hybrid).
The Opportunity
Support in Project Management: You will be integrated into our project teams and assist the team in planning, monitoring, and controlling projects. You will gain insights into the various phases of the project lifecycle and learn about modern project management methods and tools.
Support Agile product delivery: You will support the Release Train Engineer with PI planning, business requirements management and coordination with vendors supplying solutions to Roche,
Administrative Support: You will handle administrative tasks such as preparing reports, creating presentations, and maintaining project plans.
Independent Projects: Depending on your progress and interests, you will have the opportunity to lead your small projects, further developing your skills in project management and organizational change management.
Program Highlights
Intensive 12-weeks, full-time (40 hours per week) paid internship.
Program start dates are in May/June (Summer)
A stipend, based on location, will be provided to help alleviate costs associated with the internship.
Ownership of challenging and impactful business-critical projects.
Work with some of the most talented people in the biotechnology industry.
Who You Are
Required Education: You meet one of the following criteria:
Must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree (enrolled student).
Must have attained a Bachelor's degree (recent graduates not currently enrolled in a grad program).
Must be pursuing a Master's Degree (enrolled student).
Required majors: Business Administration, Project Management, Marketing Organizational Leadership, or related field.
Required Skills:
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to quickly learn unfamiliar areas and to work with a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
Curious self-starter that is entirely capable of generating results within ambiguous environments.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to quickly produce clearly written, well-organized documentation; excellent presentation and meeting facilitation skills.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications
Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of California is $23-$35 an hour. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This position also qualifies for paid holiday time off benefits.
