This internship position is located in South San Francisco, on site.
The Opportunity
Multimodal perturbation datasets are becoming increasingly large and available. Namely, OPS with phenotyping and perturb-seq datasets require representation learning that can extract the maximal perturbation specific effects. The Regev lab has generated a large multimodal dataset. We have interest in representation learning that identifies sources of shared variation and unique variation for each modality.
Program Highlights
Full time for at least first 12 weeks (40 hours per week) paid internship.
Program start dates are in May/June/July (Summer).
A stipend, based on location, will be provided to help alleviate costs associated with the internship.
Ownership of challenging and impactful business-critical projects.

Who You Are
Required Education
- Must be pursuing a PhD Degree (enrolled student)
Preferred majors: Computational Sciences or Machine learning
Required skills:
Machine learning background for representation learning.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with matrix decomposition.

The expected salary for this position based on the primary location for this position in California is $50.00 per hour. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This position also qualifies for paid holiday time off benefits.
