The Position2025 Summer Intern - Sequencing System, Biophysical Characterization
We advance science so that we all have more time with the people we love.
Roche Diagnostics Solutions (Santa Clara) is developing nanopore based sequencing dedicated to making clinical genetic testing easy and affordable. We are developing a revolutionary, low cost single-molecule DNA sequencer that can potentially improve the lives of people in a wide variety of ways including timely screening for diseases and diagnosis of various cancers.
Our team’s goal is to build a deep understanding of processes that drive sequencer performance. Our work focuses on the interaction between the biochemical system, consumables, processes, and electrical/electrochemical system of the measurement circuit. The team is composed of experts in the Roche nanopore platform, electrochemistry, biophysics, and microscopy.
This internship position is located in Santa Clara, California, on site.
