The Position

2025 Summer Intern -Technical Support Facility Engineering

We advance science so that we all have more time with the people we love.

Department Summary:

Site Engineering support for Facilities and Manufacturing Operations.

This internship position is located in Branchburg, NJ - Onsite. 

The Opportunity:

Assist with creation of asset spreadsheets for the new facility equipment.

Assist with the creation of preventative maintenance plans for new equipment.

Assist with the optimization of newly installed geothermal heat pump system.

Assist with the project oversight with Facilities Engineering team.

Assist with Building Automation Management.

Program Highlights:

 Intensive 12-weeks full-time (40 hours per week) paid internship.

Program start dates are in/ May/June (Summer)

A stipend, based on location, will be provided to help alleviate costs associated with the internship. 

Ownership of challenging and impactful business-critical projects.

Work with some of the most talented people in the biotechnology industry.

 

Who You Are (Required) 

You meet one of the following criteria:

- Must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree (enrolled student).

Required Majors:

- ME, EE, Civil, or Architectural similar fields of study.

Required Skills:

Project Management.Computer Skills.Junior level or higher in pursuit of Engineering or Architectural,.Good communication

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications:

Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

The candidate should have an interest in Pharmaceutical and Diagnostic manufacturing. A strong interest in energy conservation and CO2 reduction as well. 

The candidate should be flexible in work scope, take initiative and be naturally curious.

The preferred candidate should be able to demonstrate these skills through educational or past work experience.

The expected salary for this position based on the primary location of  New Jersey is $45.00 hour.  Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This position also qualifies for paid holiday time off benefits.
