As an Intern at Utica National, you'll work on projects that matter with the guidance and support of seasoned supervisors who are dedicated to helping you learn and grow.  Our summer program is structured to provide you with an in-depth look at insurance, giving you exposure to different departments and career pathways through our Leader Chat Series.  You'll lead projects and present your findings to our senior leadership, showcasing your talents and company contributions.  And, our past interns have been offered full-time opportunities at the conclusion of the program - we'll even help you with your résumé and LinkedIn profile!

Underwriting – You’ll use your communication skills to retain and find new business, plus your analytical mind to calculate out the risk!​ Claims – Build your people skills to help our customers get through the worst of times, losing a house, car or other belongings.​ Actuarial – Analyze data, develop strategies to improve company processes and calculate expenses. And, Actuarial exams are paid by the company! Information Technology - Apply your technology skills to help keep our software and systems running! And more!

 

This program is ideal for students with an expected graduation of May 2026 and for those who are able to work in a hybrid capacity in our home office in New Hartford, NY.
