Job Posting Title: 2025 Summer Nurse Extern Program Location: Dallas - Hospital Additional Posting Details: 36 - 40 hours per week Job Description: 2025 Summer Nurse Extern Program May 19 - August 1 Scottish Rite for Children’s Summer Nurse Extern Program offers a paid opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a pediatric setting while learning performance expectations of an entry-level staff nurse. Externs get the chance to attend educational seminars and in-services along with clinical rotations in select patient care areas. Scottish Rite for Children is one of the nation’s leading pediatric orthopedic centers. The hospital treats a wide range of orthopedic conditions, including sports injuries and fractures, as well as certain arthritic, neurological and learning disorders, such as dyslexia.
