Job Description

Learning Strategy and Operations (LS&O) supports training program logistics and operations for the Commercial Learning and Development (CL&D) teams. Programs supported are for commercial sales training, brand (marketing) capabilities, and leader development. We provide project management, training coordination, learning management and learning experience platform support and vendor/finance support for the CL&D teams.

Job Description:

The CL&D intern will undertake a project aimed at enhancing the architecture and content of the Corporate Learning & Development (CL&D) common SharePoint sites Athena, Athena 2, and the CL&D site to prepare for implementation of generative AI tools. This project involves conducting a comprehensive analysis, creating the strategy and approach, and gaining leadership alignment to best facilitate the integration of AI functionality into the CL&D SharePoint infrastructure. Analysis will require performing an inventory of existing sites, analyzing the current content, and identifying outdated materials; as well as learning how new AI tools will be applied. The intern will present findings and make recommendations to CL&D leadership. The intern will seek to gain alignment on the content consolidation and their recommended improvement approach. Lastly the intern will support the migration of files to a new file structure or to archive. This project may also include evaluating and making recommendations for updates to other CL&D or Commercial Operations Business Solutions SharePoint sites as requested.


How You Will Contribute:

Conduct Analysis - Assess problems and needs in current state through inventorying existing sites and content analysis to identify areas where consolidation, archiving or other remediation is needed.Develop Strategy for Content Architecture and Consolidation - Create recommendations that will allow for the integration of future AI tools. Develop detailed recommendations for content consolidation or archiving. Suggest improvements in site architecture for better navigation and accessibility. Propose any necessary categorization or reorganization of materials.Present Findings and Strategic Approach for Content Storage and Consolidation - Gain Alignment with CL&D Leadership Team on approach prior to project kick offCollaborative Evaluation/Remediation - Work closely with CL&D team members and leaders to review the identified content and make plans for consolidation. Gather feedback and inputs from stakeholders regarding content value and relevance.Regular Communication - Maintain regular updates with Learning Strategy & Operations (LS&O) Director and project team members. Provide progress reports to CL&D leadership team and gather continuous feedback to refine the approach.Implement Content Changes - Move or archive files according to the directions given by CL&D team members. Ensure that any site architecture updates are user-friendly, and content is easily accessible.Final Readout - Present summary of work products to CL&D team at end of internship. Identify areas of for future opportunities.Additional Responsibilities:Implement best practices for folder and document organization to improve site navigability and usability. Refine existing processes and guidelines for future site maintenance and content management. Collaborate with team members to consolidate duplicate content and eliminate redundancies. Aid in the migration of content to new site structures where necessary. Conduct training sessions or create documentation to help team members understand new structures and processes.

Internship Development Opportunities:

The intern will gain experience in analysis and strategy development including presenting ideas to senior leadership teams.  The intern will experience gaining alignment to a project approach with stakeholders.  Project management skills will be utilized and developed as the intern coordinates tasks while adhering to timelines and integrating stakeholder feedback.  The project provides exposure to working in a collaborative team that supports the commercial enterprise (sales, marketing, and commercial operations teams).  The project offers the opportunity to develop skills in building presentation skills, gaining visibility with a leadership team, designing and updating SharePoint sites, reviewing and analyzing data, managing complex projects, enhancing communication and organizational abilities, and partnering with commercial learning teams.

Job Requirements:

This position will be Hybrid and require 2-3 days in the Lexington, MA office per week.Must be Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program, preferably in Information Management, Library Science, Business Administration, or a related fieldBasic understanding of computer skills including MS Office (PowerPoint, Words, Excel)Internet skills including use of e-mails, group messaging and information gatheringHighly reliable and a strong team playerFlexible with an attention to detailStrong verbal and written communication skills

Internship Eligibility

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorshipMust be currently enrolled in a degree program graduating December 2025 or laterThe internship program is 10-12 weeks depending on the two start dates (June 2nd- August 29th) or (June 16th - August 22nd)The intern must be able to commit to one of these time framesAble to work full time 40 hours a week during internship datesTakeda does not provide a housing stipend or relocation support for the U.S Summer Internship Program

U.S. Hourly Wage Range:

$21.00 - $46.00

The estimated hourly range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual hourly wage offered will depend on the candidate’s school year/level to be entered following completion of internship.  The actual hourly wage offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
