**Job Description**
Communications is responsible for managing communication channels at Brooklyn Park. Additionally, communication works closely with each department to identify messages to highlight internally across Takeda. The department is also responsible for developing the Takeda brand within the community, this includes Career Fairs, Chamber of Commerce events and other community organization
**Job Description:**
+ Plan, edit, and write content for a variety of communications including site newsletters, emails, digital signage etc.
+ Propose and apply best practices to extend reach and engagement and improve delivery methods and frequency.
+ Support in maintaining and developing the site's video and communications library
**Internship Development Opportunities:**

+ Managing public perception, building relationships with internal and external stakeholders, while also allowing you to hone your writing, research, and critical thinking skills
+ Build a professional network, and potentially discover which area of communications you're most passionate about within the field
**Job Requirements:**
+ This position will be Hybrid and require 2-3 days in the Brooklyn Park, MN office per week.
+ Basic understanding of computer skills including MS Office (PowerPoint, Words, Excel)
+ Internet skills including use of e-mails, group messaging and information gathering
+ Highly reliable and a strong team player
+ Flexible with an attention to detail
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills
+ Must be Pursuing an undergraduate degree in life sciences, medical affairs, public health, or a related field.
**Internship Eligibility**
+ Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship
+ Must be currently enrolled in a degree program graduating December 2025 or later
+ The internship program is 10-12 weeks depending on the two start dates (June 2nd- August 29th) or (June 16th - August 22nd )
+ The intern must be able to commit to one of these time frames
+ Able to work full time 40 hours a week during internship dates
+ Takeda does not provide a housing stipend or relocation support for the U.S Summer Internship Program

**U.S. Hourly Wage Range:**
$21.00 - $46.00
The estimated hourly range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual hourly wage offered will depend on the candidate’s school year/level to be entered following completion of internship. The actual hourly wage offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
U.S. internship benefits vary by location and may include:
