Job Description

How You Will Contribute:

Assist in the development and enhancement of data products and services.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for data initiatives.Conduct research on industry trends and best practices in data management and analytics.Support the creation of dashboards and reports to visualize key metrics and insights.Help maintain documentation for data processes, product specifications, and user guides.Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving data services and products.Assist in testing and validating data products before deployment.

Job Requirements:

This position is a hybrid position located in Cambridge, MACurrently pursuing a Master’s or PhD degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., Databricks, AWS, Informatica) is a plus.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.Detail-oriented with a passion for data and technology.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
 

Internship Eligibility

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorshipMust be currently enrolled in a degree program graduating December 2025 or laterThe internship program is 10-12 weeks depending on the two start dates (June 2nd- August 29th) or (June 16th - August 22ndThe intern must be able to commit to one of these time framesAble to work full time 40 hours a week during internship datesTakeda does not provide a housing stipend or relocation support for the U.S Summer Internship Program

We understand compensation may be an important factor as you consider an internship opportunity. We are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices.

U.S. Hourly Wage Range:

$21.00 - $46.00

The estimated hourly range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual hourly wage offered will depend on the candidate’s school year/level to be entered following completion of internship.  The actual hourly wage offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location. 

 

U.S. internship benefits vary by location and may include:

Commuter Benefit: To offset your work-commute expenses, Takeda provides U.S. employees with a fixed monthly subsidy to be used for either public transportation (transit) or parking.
