Job DescriptionGlobal Clinical Supply Chain (GCSC) ensures on-time delivery of clinical trial materials to sites and patients around the world. Within GCSC, the Clinical Planning team evaluates demand forecasts and develops long-range, strategic supply plans for these clinical trial materials (which can include investigative medicinal product, devices, ancillaries, and comparators). The Clinical Planning team works along with other GCSC teams to achieve these goals and communicates across various cross-functional teams to assess and resolve supply-related program risks and issues.
How You Will Contribute:
The Global Clinical Supply Chain Summer Intern will play an important role in the implementation of the department's strategic priorities in 2025.
The intern will collaborate with members of the Clinical Planning, Clinical Supply Operations, Import-Export and Trade Compliance, and Digital Clinical Supply Chain teams on projects that help propel our pipeline forward in the pursuit of new options for patients.Global Clinical Supply Chain (GCSC) has recently deployed a brand-new operating model covering the end-to-end supply lifecycle. We can provide a mutually beneficial experience to this GCSC intern wherein they can learn more about the strategic and planning elements of our supply chain, and how clinical supply chain contributes toward the overall drug development lifecycle.In turn, Takeda GCSC will be able to leverage the intern's areas of expertise and interest, to assist with various projects related to streamlining GCSC processes and the continuous improvement of our clinical planning team.Internship Development Opportunities:

This position is a hybrid position located in Lexington, MAProgressing towards a Bachelor's or Masters's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain and Operations, Pharmaceutical Management, or a related discipline.Proficiency in computer software applicable to MS Office and MS Project or equivalent project management software is a plus.Exceptional interpersonal, verbal communication and writing skills.Deadline-driven with an elevated level of organizational and planning skills.Strong quantitative, analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills. $21.00 - $46.00
The estimated hourly range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual hourly wage offered will depend on the candidate’s school year/level to be entered following completion of internship. The actual hourly wage offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
