Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated MBA intern to join our Finance team for the summer. The intern will be responsible for analyzing costs, identifying opportunities to improve financial processes, and providing actionable recommendations within a manufacturing finance context. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.


How You Will Contribute:

Conduct detailed cost analysis to identify areas of improvement and cost-saving opportunitiesDevelop and implement financial models to support decision-making processesCollaborate with various departments to gather data and insights for financial analysisPrepare and present reports on findings and recommendations to senior managementAssist in the development and implementation of financial strategies to enhance operational efficiency

These learnings will equip interns with practical skills and knowledge applicable to future roles in finance.
 

Job Requirements:

This position is fully on-site (5 days per week) in our Lexington, MA officeCurrently enrolled in an MBA program with a focus on Finance, Accounting, or a related field.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL).Preferred software skills: Experience with SAP, TM1, and Power BI.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Prior experience in finance or consulting is a plus.Finance and business experience.Having an experience in retail or automotive is a plus.Awareness of lean six sigma

Internship Eligibility:

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorshipMust be currently enrolled in a degree program graduating December 2025 or laterThe internship program is 10-12 weeks depending on the two start dates (June 2nd- August 29th) or (June 16th - August 22ndThe intern must be able to commit to one of these time framesAble to work full time 40 hours a week during internship datesTakeda does not provide a housing stipend or relocation support for the U.S Summer Internship Program

U.S. Hourly Wage Range:

$21.00 - $46.00

The estimated hourly range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual hourly wage offered will depend on the candidate’s school year/level to be entered following completion of internship.  The actual hourly wage offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location. 

 

U.S. internship benefits vary by location and may include:
