Job Description

The Manufacturing Sciences team is responsible for technology transfer and supporting the introduction of new processes and analytical methods to the Brooklyn Park site. The analytical team is responsible for some analytical method development and qualification, support of Quality Control and Manufacturing testing as needed, and participates in global teams, working on lifecycle activities for the same test methods. The team is also responsible for authoring certain sections of the documents required to submit to regulatory agencies.

This role is designed to challenge you and be influential to your future career. The Manufacturing Sciences intern will gain exposure to some of the test methods performed in the Manufacturing Sciences Lab and may participate in the development or qualification of a test method


How You Will Contribute:

Perform experiments and testing to support laboratory studiesUtilize analytical instrumentation to assess product quality of biologics drugInteract with and support process colleaguesEvaluate new test methods; troubleshoot methods that are no longer performing as expected

Job Requirements:

This position will be Full Onsite and require 4+ days in the Brooklyn Park, MN office per week.Basic understanding of computer skills including MS Office (PowerPoint, Words, Excel)Internet skills including use of e-mails, group messaging and information gatheringHighly reliable and a strong team playerFlexible with an attention to detailStrong verbal and written communication skillsMust be pursuing a Bachelor Degree in a Hard Science or Engineering Discipline

Internship Eligibility

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorshipMust be currently enrolled in a degree program graduating December 2025 or laterThe internship program is 10-12 weeks depending on the two start dates (June 2nd- August 29th) or (June 16th - August 22nd)The intern must be able to commit to one of these time framesAble to work full time 40 hours a week during internship datesTakeda does not provide a housing stipend or relocation support for the U.S Summer Internship Program

U.S. Hourly Wage Range:

$21.00 - $46.00

The estimated hourly range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual hourly wage offered will depend on the candidate’s school year/level to be entered following completion of internship.  The actual hourly wage offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location. 

 

U.S. internship benefits vary by location and may include:
