Job Description

Intern will support Mechanical Integrity (MI) and Process Safety Management (PSM) leading up to the 2025 PSM audit.
 

How You Will Contribute:

Intern will support MI programs and PSM Program updatesIntern will work with Engineering, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) and Manufacturing while reviewing MI and PSM programsIntern will learn related utilities systems needed for Alcohol processing and distillation process

Internship Development Opportunities:

Learning how mechanical integrity is applied at a large plant. Learning Process safety management and how it applies to a large facility.Experience with driving change across multiple disciplines.
 

Job Requirements:

This is an in-person position located in Covington, GAPursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related fieldPreferred Engineering. background as MI and PSM are Engineering drivenWorking knowledge of Microsoft systemsBasic understanding of how to read P&ID's.Needs good communication skills as you will be working with cross functional groups
 

Internship Eligibility

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorshipMust be currently enrolled in a degree program graduating December 2025 or laterThe internship program is 10-12 weeks depending on the two start dates (June 2nd- August 29th) or (June 16th - August 22ndThe intern must be able to commit to one of these time framesAble to work full time 40 hours a week during internship datesTakeda does not provide a housing stipend or relocation support for the U.S Summer Internship Program

U.S. Hourly Wage Range:

$21.00 - $46.00

The estimated hourly range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual hourly wage offered will depend on the candidate’s school year/level to be entered following completion of internship.  The actual hourly wage offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
