Job Description:

Takeda is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our internship program in the summer of 2025. This position will expose the candidate to several valuable development opportunities within our organization.

Responsibilities may include:

Mock Launch SupportParticipate in interviews and scenario modeling for the TAK-861 asset launch.Develop and deliver modeling and notes for essential scenarios for the Mock Launch.Best Practices & Learnings:Conduct interviews within the core launch team to gather best practices and learnings from the launch to date.Prepare and present a summary with recommendations for future adjustments to the core team.Operational Support for Workshops:Participate in core team meetings and workshops, providing operational support as needed.Team Collaboration:Engage actively in core team activities, enhancing teamwork and collaboration skills.Practical Experience:Gain hands-on experience in various launch activities, including project management and operational support
 

Internship Development Opportunities:

Scenario Planning: Gain hands-on experience in planning and executing mock launch scenarios. This includes participating in interviews and scenario modeling, which will enhance your strategic thinking and analytical skills.Deliverables: Develop your ability to create detailed models and comprehensive notes, crucial for understanding and documenting essential scenarios.Best Practices & Learnings:Research and Analysis: Conduct interviews with the core launch team to gather insights and best practices. This will improve your research, interviewing, and analytical skills.Presentation Skills: Prepare and deliver presentations summarizing findings and recommendations. This will enhance your ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively.

Job Requirements:

This position will be Hybrid and require 2-3 days in the Cambridge office per week.Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field of studyExceptional communication skills and meticulous attention to detailBasic understanding of computer skills including MS Office (PowerPoint, Words, Excel)Internet skills including use of e-mails, group messaging and information gatheringHighly reliable and a strong team playerFlexible with an attention to detailStrong verbal and written communication skills

Internship Eligibility

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorshipMust be currently enrolled in a degree program graduating December 2025 or laterThe internship program is 10-12 weeks depending on the two start dates (June 2nd- August 29th) or (June 16th - August 22nd)The intern must be able to commit to one of these time framesAble to work full time 40 hours a week during internship datesTakeda does not provide a housing stipend or relocation support for the U.S Summer Internship Program

Takeda Compensation and Benefits Summary 

We understand compensation may be an important factor as you consider an internship opportunity. We are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices.

USA - MA - Cambridge - Kendall Square - 500

U.S. Hourly Wage Range:

$21.00 - $46.00

The estimated hourly range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual hourly wage offered will depend on the candidate’s school year/level to be entered following completion of internship.  The actual hourly wage offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location. 

 

U.S. internship benefits vary by location and may include: 

 Paid sick time

Access to on-site fitness center (where available) 

Commuter Benefit: To offset your work-commute expenses, Takeda provides U.S. employees with a fixed monthly subsidy to be used for either public transportation (transit) or parking.
