Job Description:
As a summer intern, the candidate will work on-site within the DMPK&M Translation Immunological Biomarkers Group (TIBM), supporting the enhancement and automation of the Quantitative Flow Cytometry (qFlow) platform for diverse preclinical modalities.
The project will center on quantifying tumor-associated antigens and stress ligands in both diseased and normal tissue. This effort is crucial to provide data on expression levels and distribution, which is necessary to predict optimal dosing regimens, reduce off-target effects, and improve the therapeutic index of immunotherapies.
The candidate will have the chance to contribute significantly by assisting in defining various methodologies, including but not limited to immunophenotyping, co-culture functional assays, and cytokine assessments to characterize next-generation modalities.
Internship Development Opportunities:
The candidate will utilize various techniques such as FACS, ELISpot, and LBA, working under the guidance of lab scientists to analyze, interpret, and present data in interdepartmental meetings. As a high-visibility department that collaborates intricately with many other departments, this role will provide the talented candidate with valuable knowledge of drug discovery processes.
Job Requirements:

The estimated hourly range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual hourly wage offered will depend on the candidate’s school year/level to be entered following completion of internship. The actual hourly wage offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
