QualificationsEducation:
· Bachelor’s degree required or four years of working with volunteers or community-service related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Licensure/Certification/Registry:
Experience:
· One year related experience working with volunteers required.
Other Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
· Outstanding professional demeanor and communication skills needed.
· Demonstrated leadership experience with staff scheduling and balancing multiple projects.
· Proficient in Microsoft programs, such as Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
· Moderate physical effort.

Coordinates and provides on-the-job training for volunteers and assists with orientation of new volunteers.

Serves as the department liaison to Senior Services of Central Illinois’ Retired Senior Volunteers Program (RSVP).
Provides administrative support to Volunteer Services department including helping volunteers resolve issues, assisting with various recognition measures, assisting with recruitment, orientation, and training, ordering supplies, posting updates to volunteers, and compiling various monthly reports, record keeping, and data tracking for the department.
Coordinates sending of monthly anniversary letters to volunteers and floral deliveries to employees admitted to MMC, in conjunction with CEO’s office.
Performs other duties as assigned, such as answering phones, assisting with the annual volunteer appreciation dinner, and assisting with various community outreach tasks.
