Arlington Central School District is seeking compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work with students on the autism spectrum. As a Teaching Assistant for students on the autism spectrum, you will play a crucial role in creating a supportive and engaging educational experience. Your responsibilities will include working one-on-one in small groups with students, implementing individualized learning plans, and collaborating with teachers to support student success. The program (Journeys) is located at Arthur S. May School and is well supported by the entire community.
+ 35 hr/wk Special Education Teaching Assistants
+ Starting salary $21,004 plus a $4,000 Stipend and an additional Health Aide stipend of approximately $1,618
The District offers:
+ Paid sick and personal days as well as health insurance coverage for positions that are 20 hrs/wk or more
+ Some paid holidays for those positions of 20 hrs/wk or more.

Job Qualifications
Current NYSED Teaching Assistant Certification preferred but required to obtain prior to December 2024.
