The Training and Engagement Specialist at Fraser plays a critical role in enhancing staff competency and engagement within Community Living. This role is responsible for onboarding new staff, providing ongoing training, and driving engagement initiatives that keep employees motivated and connected. This position is ideal for someone who excels in training, compliance, and engagement—and is passionate about building a supportive, inclusive workplace culture.
Qualification requirements:
BA/BS in a field related to human services preferred. Valid Minnesota Driver’s License with acceptable record required. Designated Coordinator qualified as defined by 245D required. Supervisory experience working in a residential setting as a Designated Coordinator preferred. Commitment to promoting diversity, multiculturalism and inclusion with focus on culturally responsive practice, internal self-awareness and reflection.Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver training initiatives for direct care staff within Community Living services including orientation and ongoing training. Provide back up support to Training and Onboarding Specialists for division onboarding of new direct care staff and coordinator roles. Provide Community Living Orientation weekly to new hires and create coverage plans when away from work to ensure orientation can still occur. Assist the Community Living leadership team to identify training options for staff to meet licensing regulations. Provide staff training that remains current with regards to regulations and policies, to ensure staff are trained and meeting competency with the most up to date regulations/policies. Lead employee engagement initiatives.Fraser Offers:
