Job Title: Press Operator

Job Description

The Press Operator is responsible for preparing the press for print jobs as assigned, loading appropriate film and ink, and ensuring quality by checking film for blots and errors. This position also involves moving completed jobs to the pallet for pick up.

ResponsibilitiesPrepare press and all job components for print jobs, including anilox, ink, and film.Follow spec sheet for colors and gear sizes to use.Check ink color and placement on film, then adjust and fine-tune anilox rolls and plates to ensure the job is printing according to specifications.Check UPC codes to ensure they are scannable.Manage and handle hazardous waste responsibly.Follow safety guidelines, wear designated Personal Protective Equipment, and meet OSHA safety requirements.Perform preventative maintenance tasks on the machine.Perform rework as necessary.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

This position is in a food packaging manufacturing facility that is climate controlled. Hair nets, ear plugs, and steel-toed shoes are required. No makeup, fake nails, or eyelashes can be worn during work. Shifts available include rotating days, rotating nights, Monday-Thursday nights, and weekend nights.


Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00
