Amergis Healthcare Staffing is partnered with a much respected facilityin Beverly, MA who is currently seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) toassist them at their facility on a full time basis. Details of theposition include: Location: Beverly, MA Duration: 13 weeks to start withlikelihood of extension Facility Type: Psychiatric Openings: Mon-Thurs, 7a-3p OR8a-4p. Can accommodate M-F if looking for 40 hours/week. Pay - $25/hour POSITIONDESCRIPTION: + Maintains patient confidentiality of all clients + Performs duties within scope of practice, as assigned, in an accurate and timely manner + Adheres to facility/client policy, procedures and protocols at all times + Assists doctors, nurses, and other healthcare providers with treatments, procedures, and tests being performed in a variety of patient care settings + Safeguards the client/patient by observing appropriate infection control procedures including but not limited to universal precautions + Notifies the supervising nurse of any abnormal findings or conditions + Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability in meeting the needs of all facilities + Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: RequiredQualifications: + Prefer one year experience as a certified nursing assistant within the last three years + Graduate from certified nursing assistant program with subsequent documentation as a certified nursing assistant per state requirements with proof of verification as being an active certification and in good-standing + Knowledge of medical terminology and knowledge of clerical functions + Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice + Participation and completion of Amergis’ Competency program when applicable + Current CPR if applicable + TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable + Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) + Must meet all federal, state and local requirements + Successful completion of new hire training as applicable to job site Please feel free to contact mewith any questions you may have regarding the positions.
