Exciting opportunity to join our growing pharmacy leadership team. Incumbent oversee daily operations provided through our automated, central fulfilment pharmacy operation within the IU Health Integrated Service Center located in Plainfield, IN. You will lead a team of approximately 20 direct reports and will act in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to refine and expand services to meet needs of IU Health Retail Pharmacy Network and patients serviced.

Provides comprehensive medication-related care for the purpose of achieving definite outcomes that improve a patient's quality of life. Acts in collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals in the responsibility for patient drug therapy outcomes. Is responsible for assisting the pharmacy director with preparing and performing all activities involving the pharmacy and therapeutics committee. Assists the Director in complying with all applicable Federal, State and local laws and regulations. Will assists in new process implementation and quality improvement initiatives. Responsible for inventory management and the ongoing financial performance of the pharmacy.
Requires current Indiana or Eligibility for Indiana Licenseure as a Pharmacist Requires PharmD or BS in Pharmacy 5-7 years Pharmacist experience is required Requires knowledge of Federal and State Laws and Regulations pertaining to dispensing of drugs and narcotics Management experience preferred Experience working and/or leading within a closed-door automated pharmacy is preferred but not requiredAnticipated job posting close date will be 02/28/2025
