Pay range is $20.95 – $25.95/hr. Based on Experience

Rehire criteria: Must have 90 days from the last term date.if term 3x or more is not eligible.Must have a minimum of six (6) months or mechanical work experience documented in the work history section of the application or be a graduate and/or student of an industrial maintenance training program. (can be a combination of employment as long as the experience is at "least 6 months")

DescriptionThis position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.TasksGeneral Maintenance positions are responsible for keeping machinery running to maintain continuous production.Must be willing to set up, adjust and break down production line machinery.Must be willing to learn Tyson SAP software to make work orders and fill out the daily documentation that is required in the system.Must have good verbal and written communication skills and able to communicate with other Team Members, producers, USDA personnel and drivers.  Must be able to use math as needed to make work-related computations for machinery, fluid capacities, etc.  Must be willing to lift 70 lbs, periodically throughout the shift on a daily basis and be willing to work on your feet for a period of 12 hours.Must be willing to complete all required training for the job.
