Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our plant equipment. Your responsibilities will include:

Performing preventative maintenance, normal maintenance, and emergency repairs on plant equipment, including conveyors, slicing, labeling, and packaging equipment.Fabricating and installing various pieces of equipment and rebuilding equipment as necessary, including machining and fabricating.Conducting pipe fitting, plumbing, electrical, and electronic installations and repairs with other mechanics.Ensuring all tasks are performed safely and efficiently, contributing to the production of quality products and continuous improvement.Adhering to Q-RMP standards as outlined in the Claussen Woodstock Accountability document.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Proficiency in using electrical test equipment supplied by the company.Familiarity with high voltage electrical panels and equipment.Capability in welding with arc, TIG, and MIG welding equipment.Working knowledge of lathe and milling machine operations.Ability to read calipers and micrometers.Experience in changing, repairing, and wiring electrical motors operating on 460/230 volts, 3-phase power.

Work Environment

Openings available on the 2nd and 3rd shifts.Work in a foods/GMP environment with mandatory use of hair nets, hard hats, safety glasses, ear plugs, steel toes, and smocks.Certain areas of the plant are refrigerated or temperature-controlled, and there may be a slight smell of vinegar.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
