Description:  

ATCO Frontec is seeking a 2nd Cook to join our Camp Services team in Northern British Columbia. The 2nd Cook is responsible for preparing a wide variety of foods and meals, made and served to the highest standard possible. They are responsible for inspecting food and equipment on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. 

The rate for this position is $22.00 an hour. Rates may be subject to change.   

Responsibilities: 

Ensure meals are prepared and severed to the highest standard   Support kitchen operations in a professional manner   Knowledgeable in safety while operating the required equipment  Inspect food and equipment on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis   Leave your workplace in a clean and tidy manner   Other duties as assigned by management from time to time  

Qualifications:  

Completion of a college or other post-secondary program in cooking   The successful candidate must hold a valid food safety certificate   2-3 years’ experience as 2nd cook in the hotel/restaurant industry   Ability to prioritize and multitask     Professional communication skills, oral, and written   Work well under pressure
