Job Description:

AriensCo is currently recruiting for a motivated and passionate Maintenance Technician to install and maintain machinery and equipment in industrial establishment.

2nd shift, Mon.-Thur. 4 x 10 schedule 1:30P-12A with some scheduled Friday's.

THE DAY TO DAY…

Safe operation of machines and toolsLive and promote the Ariens Core Values and 15 PrinciplesRead blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work proceduresDismantles machinesMoves machinery and equipmentAssembles and installs equipment such as shafting, conveyors and tram railsAligns machines and equipmentAssembles machines, and bolds, welds and rivets or otherwise fastens them to structuresRepairs and lubricates machines and equipmentComplete preventative and total productive maintenance

 THE REQUIREMENTS…

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferredMinimum two years industry experience and/or trainingStrong language, mathematical, reasoning and computer skills neededAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manualsAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all unites of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimalsAbility to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphsAble to frequently walk, sit and use hands to handle or feelAble to lift up to 10 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionallyMust wear required Personal Protective Equipment
