Key Responsibilities:
Incident Response:
* Lead the incident response process, from initial detection through resolution and post-incident review
* Coordinate with cross-functional teams to contain and remediate security incidents
* Analyze incident data to identify root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
Monitoring and Detection:
* Utilize advanced monitoring tools and techniques to detect and respond to security incidents
* Continuously monitor security alerts and notifications, ensuring timely identification and escalation of potential threats
* Maintain and update incident response procedures and playbooks
Communication and Reporting:
* Serve as the primary point of contact for all incident-related communications
* Provide regular updates to stakeholders, including senior management, on the status and impact of ongoing incidents
* Prepare detailed incident reports and post-incident analysis documentation
Process Improvement:
* Identify opportunities to enhance incident response processes and procedures
* Collaborate with team members to develop and implement best practices for incident management
* Conduct regular training sessions and simulations to improve team readiness and response capabilities
Compliance and Governance:
* Ensure all incident management activities comply with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements
* Participate in audits and assessments to validate the effectiveness of incident management controls and processes
