2nd Shift Assembler
**Job Title: 2nd Shift Assembler** 2nd shift - Monday to Thursday 4:30 PM to 3:00AM **Job Description** As a 2nd Shift Assembler, you will join a dynamic team working Monday to Thursday from 4:30 PM to 3:00 AM. You will perform various repetitive processes using different machines and hand tools to complete the assembly and/or sub-assembly of component parts in a climate-controlled environment. **Responsibilities** + Work in the Assembly Cell to put together sub-assemblies, add caps, ensure alignment, and run through the press machine. + Conduct quality checks and pack finished unites into shipping containers. + Test units using air pressure after the pressing process. + Remove plates after assembly, pin, and press tubes through the oven zone. + Set up baffles into fixtures and use calipers to measure the distance between end baffles and copper tube ends. + Use a glue gun according to work orders, insert 'cores' into the casting, and prepare for the pinning and pressing process. + Maintain records related to production, downtime, quality, and maintenance. + Ensure all quality standards are met by visually inspecting work or using measuring devices. + Keep work area, equipment, and machines clean and orderly at all times. + Perform necessary computer transactions in various software programs. + Perform other miscellaneous job assignments and related functions as directed by the Team Lead or Manager. **Essential Skills** + Mechanically inclined + Experience with power tools + Strong attention to detail + Hand-eye coordination + Ability to perform basic arithmetic (MDAS, decimals) **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Direct manufacturing assembly experience is a plus + 2 years of hands-on experience **Why Work Here?** Our Client invests in their people because they understand that their success is directly linked to their team members.
