\r\nPosition Summary:
\r\nMust be mechanically inclined, able to troubleshoot and take the assigned machine apart and put it back together correctly. Required to pass the Lock-Out/Tag Out course.
\r\nResponsible for performing numerous tasks in the Blending department that supports the overall operations within the department.
\r\nEssential Duties, Functions and Responsibilities:
\r\n\r\nProcess product using tools and equipment provided\r\nFollows all work safety policies and guidelines\r\nObserves equipment operation, notifying appropriate personnel of any malfunctions and/or safety issues/concerns\r\nAdheres to all USDA and GMP (Good Manufacturing Processes) product standards and guidelines\r\nMaintains a clean and organized work area\r\nWill be required to rotate to various functions within the processing department\r\nPerforms other duties as assigned\r\nAccountable to maintain punctual and regular attendance for scheduled work hour\r\n\r\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:
\r\n\r\nAbility to work in a fast paced environment\r\nAbility to communicate effectively and follow verbal and written instructions\r\nMust be willing and able to perform physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation\r\nAbility to recognize numbers and their relationship to each other\r\nEmployee must have the ability to read and understand basic math functions (+ - x ÷)\r\nEmployee must have the ability to read/speak and understand English as related to the paperwork requirements of the job (forms, logs, work instructions, and procedure\r\n\r\nPhysical Requirements:
\r\n\r\nStanding (8 hours a day or more),\r\nLifting, carrying, pushing or pulling (up to and including 50lbs or more)\r\nReaching overhead (up to and including 25lbs)\r\nOperating hand held and/or mechanical machinery\r\nClimbing stairs\r\nGripping, grasping and twisting using hands and wrists\r\nBending and stooping for long periods of time.\r\n\r\nWorking Conditions/Department Description:
