2nd Shift Cleanroom Technician
**HIRING!!! 2nd Shift Cleanroom Technician- $22-23/hr-- HIRING ASAP!!!** **Job Description** We are currently seeking dedicated and detail-oriented individuals for three open positions within our Avalus Department. As a cleanroom technician, you will be responsible for cutting pig tissue and inspecting it for any defects. This is a standing position, and candidates must be available for the 2nd shift. You should be open to working in various departments including Harvest Room, Dissection, Fixation, Selection & Evaluation, Valve Assembly, Solution Treatment, and Packaging & Labeling. **Responsibilities** + Perform a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations. + Work from visual aids, method layouts, diagrams, schematics, process flow sheets, and written or verbal assembly instructions. + Set initial layouts and use a variety of tools to prepare products. + Make continuity checks on work in process and completed work. + Conduct quality inspections on the processing line in accordance with quality specifications. + Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions. + Provide support in manufacturing operations and/or distribution centers including assembly, machinery, processing, packaging, and/or distribution of company products. + Set up and operate automatic or semi-automatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation. + Report any malfunctions or abnormalities in machines, with higher levels recommending and/or making adjustments to methods and processes. + May be involved in shipping, receiving, inventory control, or storage of products in distribution centers. **Essential Skills** + Experience working in a cleanroom environment. + Proficiency in production, assembly, and using cutting tools. + Experience with microscopes and medical assembly. + Good hand-eye dexterity. + 2 years of medical device assembly experience. + Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). + Experience with hand tools and cutting tools such as scissors and scalpels. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with microscopes is a plus. + Good hand-eye dexterity. **Why Work Here?** Join a world-renowned company that offers great benefits and significant opportunities for growth. Candidates must be comfortable working with pig hearts and aware of distinct smells, such as formaldehyde, within the cleanroom. The position involves a mix of sitting and standing, and some departments may require the use of a microscope or magnifying glass.
