2nd Shift - Conditioning Tower Operator
**Job Title: Conditioning Operator** **Job Description** Conditioning Operators work closely with the Conditioning Supervisor and Plant Operations Manager to ensure that all conditioning runs meet customer quality requirements, while also maximizing the total number of units bagged from each run. **Responsibilities** + Perform work activities safely. + Utilize computers to record and locate information as needed. + Operate seed conditioning equipment according to instructions, including taking and documenting quality checks and activity as required. + Thoroughly clean all equipment between conditioning runs to maintain product integrity. + Lift and stack materials up to 68 lbs. for extended periods of time. + Lift and stack material at or above shoulder height for extended periods of time. + Safely climb stairs and/or ladders to monitor and adjust equipment. + Assist with implementing and maintaining the Quality Management System. + Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area. **Essential Skills** + Experience with quality assurance. + Proficiency in seed conditioning. + Ability to ensure that all conditioning runs meet customer quality requirements while maximizing the total number of units bagged. + Experience with mills and quality management systems. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Former experience working at a seed plant is preferred. + Candidates with agricultural backgrounds tend to perform well in this role. **Why Work Here?** This position offers a collaborative work environment where employees can work closely with supervisors and managers. Employees will work closely with the Conditioning Manager and Operations Manager, overseeing packagers and checking the quality of products.
