**Job Title: 2nd Shift Conversion Dept Operator**
**Job Description**
+ We are seeking dedicated 2nd Shift Production Operators to join our team.
+ Successful candidates will be trained to operate equipment for loading/unloading rolls, packing, winding/rewinding finished products, preparing samples, and printing and labeling finished products.
**Responsibilities**
+ Check operating controls and ensure the safety of equipment before operation.
+ Obtain material for processing from inventory bins and report any damaged, defective, or missing material to the supervisor.
+ Set up machines based on production orders.
+ Label and pack finished products as per work order instructions.
+ Review work orders/drawings and resolve conflicts.
+ Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with company policies.
+ Comply with OHSA safety standards while performing job duties.
+ Notify supervisor or manager of any potential safety hazards.
+ Maintain lift cart certification.
**Essential Skills**
+ High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
+ 2 years of experience in heavy general labor, heavy machine operation, carpentry, or construction.
+ Experience working with large parts or materials (4 ft +).
+ Good documentation skills.
+ Ability to understand oral and written instructions.
+ Ability to maintain effective working relationships with other employees.
+ Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally.
+ Experience with an ERP or computer system for managing work orders.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with film/paper/cardboard rewinding machinery or converting machinery is a plus.
+ Experience with bottling/food manufacturing machinery is a plus.
+ Experience with hand tools, drills, saws, etc., is a plus.
+ Some Microsoft Office skills.

+ The company focuses on various industries, including aerospace, wind energy, marine, automotive, printed circuit boards, solar energy, and general FRP composites.
**Additional Information:**
**Conversion department:**
• 1 Position: Schedule 2A: 3pm-11:30pm, OFF FRI/SAT, $20.50/hr
• 1 Positions: Schedule 2B: 3pm-11:30pm, OFF SUN/MON, $20.50/hr
+ Should be flexible to work Overtime
+ Overtime is on a volunteer basis.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Huntington Beach, California.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $20.50/hr.
