2nd shift Customer Service Representative
Description We are offering a possible contract to hire employment opportunity for a 2nd Shift Customer Service Representative, based in Erlanger, Kentucky. This role is within the service industry where you will play a crucial part in assisting customers. The workplace will be a team-oriented environment where you will be expected to provide detail-oriented, friendly, and high-quality service. Responsibilities: • Handle incoming customer inquiries, providing accurate information and resolving their requests • Efficiently process customer credit applications and maintain detailed records • Dispatch services • Communicate effectively with customers, providing clear expectations of costs and estimated time of arrival • Follow up with customers regularly, keeping them informed on their service status • Prepare service estimates, complete billing processes, and collect payments as necessary • Use sales skills to address customer objections and encourage them to proceed with our service • Forward contact information of interested prospects to an Inside Sales team member when required • Identify priority issues and route calls to appropriate resources as needed • Collaborate and support other team members in a team environment • Acquire detailed knowledge of minor and major mechanical repairs through regular training Requirements • Proven experience in a call center environment, preferably in the service industry • Demonstrated ability to handle inbound and outbound calls efficiently • Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to de-escalate and resolve issues • Proficiency in data entry and order entry tasks • Strong ability to correspond professionally via email • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word • Experience in scheduling appointments in a fast-paced environment • Familiarity with logistics and the ability to coordinate effectively • Capability to work under pressure and manage high volumes of calls • Willingness to work in a 2nd shift schedule, including weekends and holidays if required • Strong listening and communication skills, both written and verbal • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively TalentMatch® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
