The Boeing CompanyWe are seeking four 2nd Shift Facilities Multi-Services Managers (Level K) to lead our Northwest Factory Services/Custodial teams in Everett, Washington.
You will be a part of our Global Real Estate & Facilities (GREF) organization, which is responsible for activities within facilities including planning, analysis, project administration, property administration, provisioning, engineering, construction, factory services/custodial and plant & equipment maintenance.
This role will be primarily 2nd shift and may move to another shift based on future business needs. 2nd shift is typically 3:00 pm PT - 11:30 pm PT, Monday through Friday. Four positions will be in Everett, Washington with the potential to be assigned to other facilities in the region based on future business needs.
You may be required to work off shift, weekends and holidays in support of the facilities work statement as needed. You will participate in weekend duty rotation, approximately three to five weekends annually.
Position Responsibilities:
Manages employee activities within the facilities occupation including custodial cleaning services and facilities maintenance
Manages, coaches, leads, develops and motivates employees
Develop and maintain a positive 'Safety First' environment and ensure employee performance complies with all established safety processes and expectations
Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals; drives accountability within the team
Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, business partners and employees
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
Participates in equipment make/buy decisions; participates in source selection and provides technical oversight of suppliers
Learns and then leads Boeing problem solving (BPS) and lean efforts
Learns and then leads with a Seek, Speak & Listen (SS&L) mindset
Prioritizes company global equity, diversity & inclusion initiatives
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience in a leadership role, leading teams or projects to successful completion
1+ years of experience teaching, coaching, and developing others
Proactive verbal & written communication, and critical thinking skills
Experience collaborating across teams
Willingness to work any shift as needed
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Strategic decision-making & continuous learning skills and ability to drive accountability within a team
3+ years of experience in facilities operations/management or custodial services
3+ years of experience developing and delivering presentations to senior leaders
3+ years of experience developing & implementing technical, operational or quality strategies
1+ years of experience using computerized maintenance management software systems, preferably Corrigo
Experience leading in a union environment
Bachelor’s degree or higher
