**Job Title: 2nd Shift - Forklift Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated 2nd Shift Forklift Operator to join our team. This role involves operating forklifts to load and unload materials and deliveries, moving them to and from storage areas, machines, loading docks, and trucks. You will be an integral part of our warehouse operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of materials and products. **Responsibilities** + Operate forklifts to load and unload materials and deliveries. + Transport materials or equipment to and from designated areas in the facility based on production schedules or shipping orders. + Provide raw or WHIP stock to production machines as per the production schedule. + Load and unload goods from vehicles. + Move goods packed on pallets or slip sheets around the storage facility. + Stack goods in the correct storage bays following inventory control instructions. + Stack empty pallets. + Remove machine attachments and waste material from machines. + Dump materials into machine hoppers. **Essential Skills** + 6 months to 1 year of forklift operating experience (sit-down or stand-up forklifts). + Experience with material handling, picking, packing, and unloading. + Proficiency in using RF scanners. + Experience in shipping and receiving operations. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High school diploma or equivalent. + Ability to lift 10-30 lbs. consistently. + Ability to stand on feet for 8-10 hours per day. **Why Work Here?** Join a stable and growing company that recently invested $10 million in new equipment, ensuring you work with modern machinery. The second shift runs from 2pm to 10pm, with a shift differential of $1.25 for 2nd shift and a base pay of $17/hr. The facility operates with Flexo and corrugated packaging machines, and can be noisy. Expect to work 9-hour shifts consistently.
