Job details Spherion Staffing of Lake and Sumter County is looking for a skilled and dedicated Grader Operators to join our clients dynamic team at their manufacturing plant in Leesburg, FL.

2nd shift Monday to Friday 3:00 pm-11:00 pm (Training Schedule 1st shift 7 am - 3 pm)
The schedule is usually 8 hours per shift but this may fluctuate. ... Pay rate $18.22/per hour.

POSITION SUMMARY: Inspects coated material for defects and conformance to machining specifications by performing the following duties.

Responsibilities:
- Visually examines and feels surface of materials to detect defects
- Verifies materials to dimensional specifications
- Records all defects on defect log
- Uses micrometer to measure material thickness
- Cuts material samples at beginning and ending
- Assists in line setup including responsibilities of material changeovers
- Assists in start up, shut down, and changeover of line

Working hours: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM

- Attention to detail (follow detailed procedures)
- Quality (Ability to maintain high standards)
- Interpersonal Communication Skills (Able to share credit with workers)

Education:
High School

Experience:
0-1 years

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Knowledge of basic computer and keyboard use.
- Ability to use measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
