The Heat Treat Operator  Responsible for the proper operations of heat treating furnaces and related equipment to perform all assigned operations relative to changing the physical properties of metal to obtain the desired qualities. 


What You'll Do:Follow safety rules and keep work area clean and orderly.Read production schedules and work orders to determine processing sequences, furnace temperatures, and heat cycle requirements for objects to be heat-treated.Set up and operate or tend machines, such as furnaces and age ovens using heat-treating charts and knowledge of methods, equipment, and metals. Process parts in accordance to part instruction manual.Prepare and interpret required production and quality reportsNotify supervisor or maintenance department of equipment problems. Perform forklift safety inspection daily.
