2nd Shift HR/Employee Relations Manager
Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting to the Sr. Director of HR you will provide Employee Relations/Human Resources support to assigned client groups/business partners, including recruitment and retention, staffing and orientation, employee relations, project management, training and development, and assisting in the coordination of human resource planning projectsResponsible for maintaining an open-door policy through effective positive employee relations and MBWA (Managing by Walking Around)Provide HR partnership and consultation for assigned functional teamProvide coaching and advice to management on ways to administer HR programs and manage employee issuesHelp implement approved employee relations policies and practices, providing technical assistance to functional leadershipLead Human Resource programs within the assigned department/client groups, including EEO, unemployment, litigation, retention, termination, turnover, and severance issuesPartner with HR peers, HR centers of excellence, and other departments including Staffing, Compensation, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, and Legal on different needsFacilitate, in partnership with staffing organizations and business partners, recruitment pipeline for current openings, candidate selection, and future recruiting needsDesign and execute ad hoc reporting, conduct analysis and draw conclusions that aid in making sound decisionsPerform other related tasks as assigned

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related degreeMinimum 3 years of professional experience in Human Resources in warehouse/supply chain logistics or manufacturing environmentExperience with ERISA, EEOC, and DOL regulations, employee relations, communications, human relations, and management skillsExperience with recruiting, benefits and compensation administration, labor law, and organizational developmentExperience managing projectsExperience with Workday or other HRISExperience influencing business leaders through coaching and partnershipBilingual (English/Spanish) preferredSHRM certification preferred.
