Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment and access points.

Assigns tasks and supervises the work activities of subordinates also prepares the work schedules for said staff.

Prepares and distributes the distribution center schedules

Writes reports of daily activities and irregularities such as property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons or unusual occurrences.  Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences and surveillance activities.

Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.

Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons.

Respond to alarm company off hours calls.

• Responsible to schedule Distribution Center Loss Prevention employees.

• Responsible to train the Distribution Center Loss Prevention employees.

• Acts as the liaison between Distribution Center and Loss Prevention.

• Verifies Accuracy of data entry of Distribution Center Loss Prevention Associates.

• Assists in the protection of all Deckers Assets, to include Physical Assets (Facility, Machinery and Property), Human Assets (Deckers employees and visitors), and Profit Assets (Merchandise).

• Partnering with DC Facilities Management, to professionally monitor Physical Security Policies and Procedures of the Distribution Center.

• Reports incidents of associate theft or safety violations.

• Monitors all Distribution Center Safety Policies and Procedures and facilitate the Distribution Center Safety Committee.

• Demonstrate proficiency and train DC LP employees in all processes of the Distribution Center.

• Monitors the production area (via the floor and CCTV) to ensure compliance to processing guidelines.

• Perform all Guard Shack operations and Guard Shack data entry, as described in the Guard Shack section of the Distribution Center Loss Prevention SOP.

• Point person on special projects and other duties as assigned.
