Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator for the 2nd shift, Monday to Friday, from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm. The ideal candidate will be able to perform various assembly tasks, operate machinery, and ensure the quality of the products. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to read and interpret manufacturing orders, and perform minor machine maintenance.
ResponsibilitiesPerform aspects of assembly work.Use computers to close out and reprint manufacturing orders.Read job manufacturing orders to determine belt specifications.Calculate spec cards.Perform wire bend tests correctly and at designated times for each machine.Read and use tape measures accurately.Operate and observe machines to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunctions.Measure wire dimensions to ensure the accuracy of machine operations.Monitor quality by checking twists, bow, curve, edges, length, number of spans, belt tightness, sponge, pitch, and parallel.Perform minor machine maintenance such as lubricating moving parts and cleaning or replacing broken components.Move finished stacks to designated areas.Essential SkillsExperience in production, machine operation, general production, general labor, assembly, inspection, or CNC.Ability to read and interpret manufacturing orders.Competence in using computers for order management.Attention to detail for quality monitoring.Basic maintenance skills for machinery.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma is required if the candidate does not have experience.High School Diploma is not required for candidates with 3+ years of relevant experience.Any production or machine operating experience is preferred.Open to candidates with good work experience in other industries if they have a genuine interest in manufacturing and the ability to learn quickly.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
You will be working in a manufacturing environment where safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel toe shoes/boots are required. The facility is climate controlled, although it can feel slightly warmer due to the molding machines.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.22 - $21.22/hr.
