Job Description
As a 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician, you will perform root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and preventive and predictive maintenance on various machinery within the plant. This includes automated bottling, packaging, palletizing, and conveying machines. All machines are equipped with computer/PLC controls, and you will be required to enter any adjustments or setting changes into the system.
ResponsibilitiesPerform root cause analysis on machinery issues.Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems.Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance on automated bottling, packaging, palletizing, and conveying machines.Utilize knowledge of PLC controls to troubleshoot and make necessary adjustments.Handle wiring tasks involving 480 volts.Record any adjustments or setting changes into the system.Essential SkillsTroubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems.Knowledge of PLC controls.Experience with wiring 480 volts.Preventive maintenance.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in maintenance within a food production facility.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment is generally fair in temperature, with some areas cooler and others more humid and warmer, maintaining an average of roughly 75 degrees throughout the facility. The 2nd shift runs from 3pm to 11pm and includes a $3 shift premium. The dress code requires jeans, steel-toed boots, a work shirt, hair and beard net, and hearing protection.
