Job Overview

Maintenance Mechanic C performs general maintenance in an industrial plant environment to support daily manufacturing needs. 2nd Shift: 4pm to 2:30am Monday through Friday and Overtime when needed on Saturdays. Pay $25.20 with 10% Shift Differential for 2nd Shift. $1000 Retention Bonus After 90 Days. Benefits go into effect the first of the month following your hire date. Medical, Dental, Vision, STD, 401K, 4% Company Retirement Contribution regardless of participation.

 

 

A Day In The Life

Major Job Responsibilities:

Performs general maintenance to repair, replace, and install equipment, supplies, etc. Changes out core molds which involves lifting metal core from lids, changing O rings (50-55lbs), changing out back plate, putting on a new cover over cover lid molds Replaces light bulbs, air vents, etc. in industrial height ceiling using scissor lift Assist other mechanics to change out larger box molds/hats on floor, using diagrams to install correctly. Reads diagrams, blueprints, instructional booklets to repair, install, or change equipment Completes all paperwork Uses hoists, drills, hammers, screwdrivers, etc.

Other Job Responsibilities:

Drives Forklifts Performs other maintenance work as directed May work with engineering department on special projects. Assists in design of tooling and equipment for molds as well as welds steel and cuts steel when needed Assist with mold set-up when required Accomplish other job-related functions as may be assigned. Always practice and promote safety. Be able to work at heights up to approximately 50 feet. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential part of the job.
