Main Responsibilities + The maintenance tech will be responsible for servicing and troubleshooting the plant. + Preform plant maintenance. + Preventative maintenance on aggregate processing equipment. + Maintenance tasks include belt conveyors, belt splicing, changing bearing, greasing, and replacing wear parts. + Must be able to weld and do fabrication of chutes and various items. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. + Must have maintenance experience. + Must have experience working with heavy mobile equipment. + Must have the ability to operate mobile equipment. + Must be a motivated, a take charge type of person who works well independently. + Must follow all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments while maintaining a safe work environment and safe work habits. + Must have reliable transportation. Physical Demands This job requires the ability to lift, pull, and push a minimum of 50 lbs., bend, stoop, kneel, reach, squat twist, and climb heavy equipment several times throughout the day, and balance at heights up to 6 feet from ground level. In addition, you must have the ability to be on your feet regularly and use hands, arms, and legs repeatedly on the job. This includes frequently walking on sloped ground and slippery and uneven surfaces, as well as working in confined areas.
