2nd SHIFT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
General Summary:
Constructs, installs, repairs, and maintains equipment, machinery, structures, and electrical
systems at the distribution center.

Essential Job Functions:
• Perform scheduled and preventive maintenance of equipment, machinery, electrical systems, and structures using blueprints, diagrams, manuals, and written instructions while adhering to safety guidelines to ensure equipment is working so that efficient operations are maintained.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair malfunctions promptly, including equipment and machinery malfunctions, using blueprints, manuals and written instructions.
• Construct, install or repair equipment in accordance with manufactures guidelines and repair manuals.
• Assist in the training and instruct General Maintenance Associates in the maintenance of the building and grounds, ensuring that maintenance is completed in a timely and accurate manner.
• Perform general warehouse duties, as required, including loading and unloading trailers and use of forklift type equipment.


Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. Strong electrical, mechanical and mathematical skills. Three to five years industrial maintenance experience or equivalent. Skills in welding, milling machines, hand and power tools, and electrical motors. P.C. literate.
