2nd Shift Maintenance Technician
**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** + **_Direct hire_** + **_Grand Rapids, MI_** + **_$25-30/hour_** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated **Maintenance Technician for B shift (10 hours M-Th with a flexible start time between 4:30 pm and 7:30 pm) and C shift (1st shift weekends). This role primarily supports the B shift but must be able to float between schedules as needed.** The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing preventive and unscheduled maintenance tasks on CNC mills, lathes, and other equipment to minimize machine downtime. Additional duties include facility maintenance, inventory management, data collection, and safely operating a forklift within the facility. The role also requires adherence to 5S organization and housekeeping standards as well as company policies and procedures. + Perform preventive maintenance tasks on CNC mills, lathes, and other equipment. + Perform unscheduled maintenance on CNC mills, lathes, and other equipment to minimize machine downtime. + Assist in diagnosing equipment issues. + Perform facility maintenance tasks. + Maintain an accurate inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment. + Perform data collection and communication tasks in JobBoss and other applications. + Safely operate a forklift to move equipment and material within the facility. + Maintain workstations to 5S organization and housekeeping standards. + Comply with company policies and procedures. **Essential Skills** + Minimum of 5 years experience as a Maintenance Technician specifically on CNC Machines. + Proficient in troubleshooting CNC machines. + Experience in maintenance and troubleshooting on mills, lathes, and grinders. + Facilities maintenance experience. + Ability to read blueprints of CNC equipment. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Mechanical aptitude. + Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues. + Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices. + Experience in maintaining facilities. **Why Work Here?** This company heavily promotes Veteran employees due to the nature of the business, which involves military fighter jets, ground vehicles, and other military equipment.
