If you’re a Mechanical Repair Technician, we have an exciting opportunity for you. Machinist reports to the manufacturing supervisor and is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining several machine types in an industrial setting. The position involves troubleshooting, moderate decision-making and problem solving. The role works under limited supervision and provides some guidance to other members. There is limited contact with external suppliers or customers.
This role is for a first (6:00 AM- 2:30 PM) and second shift (3:00 PM- 11:30 PM) Monday- Friday.

Receives customer product returns, makes decisions on product dispositions; use, upgrade or replaceEvaluate and trouble-shoot for root cause of failure as initial point of product analysis. Compare findings against standards; elevate as needed in pursuit of conclusionsInterface with engineering to provide support in troubleshooting product and process problems, product warranty evaluation, work estimationComplete disassembly, re-assembly, test, part re-use evaluation, diagnosis, and correction of problemsComplete warranty and/or repair of inactive products, current production products and customer owned productsWhat We Are Looking For

Ability to diagnose product condition as known or new condition by utilizing formal acceptance criteria catalogue or historical data on product or issueAbility to follow work instructions (such as PowerPoint, MIS, EFMS, BDDS, AP's (assembly procedures), some legacy products have paper build booksTechnical product knowledge to identify contributing factors to component failure in fieldHS Diploma or equivalent2-5 years related work experienceLevel 2
