**Job Description Summary** The 2nd Shift Production Supervisor will perform the daily operations of plants to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line. Typically managing hourly employee populations. + Expected to resolve problems through the application of acquired expertise guided by precedent. + Works together with people from the business unit. Contacts are under guidance and/or geared towards specifying activities, planning of activities and giving explanations on technical issues. + Communicates with direct team and supervisor. + Presents to internal teams on metrics, project status and research. + Ability to work in other operations to cover as needed. **Required Qualifications** + Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role (manufacturing or similar industry preferred) OR a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Manufacturing, 2 of which are/were in a supervisory role OR Military Training. **Eligibility Requirements** + Ability and willingness to work the Off-Shift- 2nd Shift (3pm-11pm). + Must be legally authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship now or in the future. + This position is 100% onsite in Schenectady, NY. **Desired Characteristics** + Engineering or management degree. + Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certified. + Manufacturing experience relevant to heavy duty equipment. + Experience running projects in a machine shop environment. + Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve complex problems. + Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. + Established project management skills. The base pay range for this position is $74K - $95K. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for bonuses, such as a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. This position is expected to close on 2/19/2025, or thereafter. The company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% of salary in certain areas.
