Our client in Northampton, MA is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Floater to join their team! **Job Title: Production Floater** **Location: Northampton, MA** **Pay Range: $19.75/ hour** **Shift: 2:30pm - 11pm (Days vary, must have flexibility)** **What’s the Job?** + The operator will oversee and manage production of Rokide rods from raw materials through to final quality control + The operator will produce a variety of rod types based on Rokide production schedule set forth by Rokide production coordinator + Requires efficiently balancing mixing, extrusion, drying, cutting, and firing steps to maximize overall production and meet customer order requirements + Entails tracking and management of key materials and consumables to ensure uninterrupted and quality production + Works with process engineering and management to troubleshoot quality or production issues + Responsible for completing all Rokide production and quality data + Responsible for the start-up, shut-down, and cleanouts of all production equipment in Rokide area + Make adjustments to processing parameters to achieve desired final specifications + Store raw materials, in-process materials, and finished goods in their proper locations + **Operate a forklift to move pallets of raw materials, totes filled with powder, etc** + Will need to operate equipment at elevated heights occasionally (ladders/platforms) + Pack finished goods to be shipped as needed + Load/unload trucks as needed + Maintain work areas and equipment **What’s Needed?** + Team player with Production experience + Ability to lift 50lbs + Forklift experience is necessary If this is a role that interests you and you’d like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
