2nd Shift Production Supervisor

As the 2nd shift Production Supervisor, you will support the manufacturing environment to develop and maintain the day-to-day activities in production and management of the staff within military transparencies. You will focus on safety and work to meet daily production goals. You will be fully onsite in our Sylmar, CA. facility. You will report to the Production Manager.
 

Key Responsibilities

 Maintains a safe operating environment

 Meet daily production schedules and reports status to leadership as needed

Works as a team with functional area supervisors and managers to accomplish goals and meet customer requirements of quality, delivery, cost, and inventory performance expectations

Work collaboratively in a cross-functional manufacturing environment

Responsible for 5S initiatives sustainment by identifying and eliminating waste in all phases of the production processes

Trains, cross-trains and maintains proficiency records of employees

Identifies Recommends proper staffing levels based on production needs

Monitors and controls cost of manufacturing, including material usage and overtime

 Assures proper maintenance of equipment and tooling

 Maintain inventory control and accuracy
 

Qualifications

High School Diploma

US Citizen

Bachelor's Degree AND 2 years minimum of experience in an aerospace, automotive, military, manufacturing and/or maintenance environment. OR

High School Diploma/GED AND 5 years minimum of experience in an aerospace, automotive, military, manufacturing and/or maintenance environment

Ability to work some Saturday's

Salary Range $80,000-$90,000 plus annual bonus
