Job Description:

Location: Portland, Maine

We are currently hiring for the Production Supervisor role in Portland, ME. The Production Supervisor manages daily production activities, ensuring timely delivery, efficient workflow, and employee performance. This role involves overseeing employee training, safety compliance, and addressing operational issues to maintain high-quality standards.

Responsibilities:

– Ensure production goals and deadlines are consistently met.
– Supervise team tasks, workflow, and coverage to ensure smooth operations.
– Onboard new hires, provide ongoing training, and address performance issues.
– Communicate with team members and management, offering constructive feedback and escalating concerns when necessary.
– Assist with various production-related tasks to maintain service quality.
– Follow standard procedures and implement corrective actions for operational issues.
– Enforce safety protocols and actively participate in safety initiatives.
– Maintain a clean, organized facility and monitor inventory levels.
– Serve as a liaison between production and other departments.
– Track equipment and system maintenance to ensure operational efficiency.

– Ability to manage high workloads and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
– Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
– Proficiency in basic office software and ability to adapt to new systems.
– Ability to train teams and ensure quality control.
– Basic math skills and problem-solving ability.

Education and Experience:
– BA in Manufacturing, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
– 3+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
– Lean manufacturing experience is a plus.

Other Information:

Shift: 3PM-12AM
Pay Range:$65,000-80,000 yearly
Location: Portland, ME
