Job Description

Our company designs, manufactures, and powder coats metal fuel tanks, skids, frames, trailers, and other related products. We are looking for a dedicated Quality Inspector to join our team on the 2nd shift.

ResponsibilitiesCheck for leaks in the tanks by performing 'bubble checks'Spray tanks to test for bubbles and leaksDocument findings using an appConduct physical inspections by walking, crawling, bending, and liftingPerform visual inspections without using precision measuring toolsFill out sign-off sheetsLift up to 50 lbs during inspectionsEssential Skills6 months to 1 year of manufacturing quality experienceProficiency in quality control and quality inspectionExperience with inspection and quality assuranceAbility to use calipers and micrometersStrong visual inspection skillsGood job tenureAdditional Skills & QualificationsGood attendance and strong work ethicTeam player attitude with willingness to assist other departments as neededWhy Work Here?

Work Environment

2nd shift: Monday - Friday, 2pm-10pm. The job involves physical activity, including walking, crawling, bending, and lifting. There is a $3 shift premium for the 2nd shift.

Location & Pay

This is a position based out of Janesville, Wisconsin. Pay starts at $19/hr with a $3 shift premium

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00
